San Antonio Zoo

The San Antonio Zoo has over 3,500 animals spread across a massive 50-acre property that is conveniently located at 3903 N St Mary's St, San Antonio, TX 78212.  It features nature exhibits and animals from around the world. The Witte Museum was established in 1926 and is the premier museum for Texas history. It was named after San Antonio businessman Alfred G. Witte, who was a philanthropist and art lover. The museum features exhibits ranging from prehistoric times to modern times and incorporates science education into every exhibit. Visitors can see dinosaur fossils, dioramas of Texas wildlife, and cave drawings. There are also many hands-on educational activities and tours available.

The second most popular attraction in San Antonio is the San Antonio Riverwalk. The colorful walkways are a popular place for strolling and shopping. You can even explore the area by boat if you wish. During the summer, don't miss the Fiesta Noche del Rio, held every Friday and Saturday night. The festivities include songs and dances from Mexico, Texas, Argentina, and more.

Morgan's Wonderland is a great place for kids of all ages to visit. Open to the public, this park features six major permanent exhibition spaces, a 3,000-square-foot special exhibit gallery, and 39,000 square feet of outdoor exhibit yards. Kids will have the opportunity to create, learn, and have fun in this exciting setting. Active duty military members can even get $1 off admission, though they must purchase their tickets in advance.

The San Antonio Riverwalk connects the city's major attractions. Its pedestrian path is one story below automobile traffic and has a number of bars, restaurants, and shops. It also provides a great opportunity to take a stroll in the city, and visit museums and historical buildings. A stroll along the riverwalk can be an unforgettable experience.

The McNay Art Museum is another interesting place to visit in San Antonio. It is housed in the former Spanish Colonial Revival mansion of art collector Marion McNay, who opened it in 1954. The museum features over 20,000 pieces of art. Its Tobin Collection of Theater Arts is considered to be one of the finest in the country.

The Japanese Tea Garden is another fascinating attraction at the San Antonio Zoo. This lush area includes stone bridges, koi ponds, and shaded walkways.
